Principal Solution Architect at Dataciders Austria — 12+ years of building software: the first seven on the JVM, since 2021 mostly in .NET.
I enjoy building clean, pragmatic architectures for the problem at hand: scalable cloud systems, real-time distributed apps, and intelligent solutions that actually make life easier for the people using them. I'm as comfortable sketching a system's high-level design as I am diving into implementation details with my team.
This blog is the long-form counterpart to that work — deep dives into .NET, the JVM and software architecture, the reasoning behind design decisions, performance rabbit holes, and the occasional interactive experiment that's easier to play with than to read about. Years of Java (Swing to OSGi to reactive streams) before the switch to C# left me with a habit of comparing how the two ecosystems solve the same problem — expect some of that here.
