The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking services, embeds no third-party content at runtime, and collects no personal data of its own. The only processing is the technical minimum every web host needs to serve a page, plus whatever you send yourself when contacting me by email.

Hosting (Cloudflare)

The website is served as a static site via Cloudflare Workers, operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, requested page, browser type and time of access, to deliver the pages and secure their operation. The operator of this website does not receive, store or analyze these server logs himself. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of a static, non-commercial website). No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services of any kind. No consent banner is shown because none is required. A single piece of information is stored locally in your browser's localStorage: your light/dark preference, set only once you use the theme toggle. It never leaves your device and is read by nobody but this website. That is purely functional storage at your request within the meaning of § 165 (3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) and needs no consent. You can delete it at any time via your browser's site-data settings.

Fonts & assets

All fonts, styles and scripts are bundled at build time and served from this website's own domain. In particular, the fonts are self-hosted; your browser makes no requests to Google Fonts or other font CDNs.

Contact by email

If you get in touch by email, the data you submit (sender and message content) is processed to handle your inquiry; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related inquiries. Messages are kept only as long as handling them, including follow-up questions, requires, and are deleted afterwards.

Links to external websites (such as GitHub, LinkedIn or YouTube) are plain hyperlinks. Data reaches the respective provider only once you click, and from that point their privacy policies apply. Third-party content is not embedded directly.
